Video Production – Animation
Animation and 3D
Animation is the technique in which each frame of a film or video is produced individually. When the frames are liked together and the resulting film is viewed at a speed of 16 or more frames per second, there is an illusion of continuous movement. There are three common ways that filmmakers use to animate imagery. The first way is by photographing a drawn image and then altering that image before taking another shot and so on. The second is by using a model and again repeatedly making small changes before photographing again. The third way is by computer graphic imagery (CGI), which when made by animating 3D models, provides superior visual with real-like 3 dimensional effects.
3D computer animation combines 3D modeling with programmed movement. Digital models are constructed out of geometrical vertices, faces, and edges in a true 3D coordinate system. Animation can be a very tedious and timely development, but due to computer graphic imagery and computer animation, the process can be noticeably quicker. Computer graphic imagery software is used to make CGI animations for interactive Cd Roms, web video clips, corporate DVDs, mobile phones and television ads. Recent accessibility of CGI software and increased computer speeds has allowed individual artists and small business to produce professional grade animated videos from their enhanced personal computers.
We develop 3D animations for use in emails, websites, interactive Cd Rom presentations, corporate DVD’s, mobile platforms, film special effects and television ads.
